We believe in the social referral value of guest’s photos so much that we actually encourage our clients to give away their photos for free to maximize the social shares and referrals to grow their business!

Here at Fotaflo we strongly believe that this is far more effective than trying to monetize memories by selling photos to your customers. It's a great way of generating new bookings and improving the guest experience.

You can read Xola’s entire analysis of this concept for Adventure Park Insider in their article Reaching Facebook Fans.

Ian Maier of Xola does a great job of breaking down some of the reasons why it’s so important to ensure your guests have photos of their experiences with your business – including our core belief that providing photos to guests drives social shares and generates referral business.

"With Facebook now prioritizing organic content from “friends, family and groups” over “businesses, brands, and media,” most marketers expect to reach as little as one percent of their fans by posting unpaid content on their page. With the demise of organic reach on Facebook, zip lines and aerial adventure parks would be wise to focus their social media resources on a viral strategy that harnesses the reach of their guests, instead of building an audience on their Facebook page."

Our founder Ryan O’Grady first discussed this with The Globe and Mail back in 2012.
